This approximately 7 hour asynchronous course includes 5 lessons on jurisprudence and ethics will help you feel confident to make the right decision, in the moment, when you’re faced with an ethical or legal dilemma. As you work through five scenario-rich modules, you will have multiple opportunities to practice applying knowledge and making decisions in realistic situations.

As a pre-requisite for this course, you’re expected to have read the Jurisprudence and Ethics Knowledge and Competency Standards for the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysts (ONTABA^TM, 2020) and the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts (BACB®, 2020), which you can access through the ONTABA and BACB websites. You’re encouraged to keep these resources nearby as you go through each of the five modules, which cover all five sections of the ONTABA Standards.
